How to find a Book by Call Numbers?

Dear Library Users for saving your time and do productive searches you need to know the meaning of the call numbers.

WINDOWS
PER

005.133  =  DDC Number
(look at  the DDC index inside the bookle )
WINDOWS  = Type of program/language
(only  for Computer books)
PER = 3 first letters of author's last name
(the author is Ron Person)

R759
DUT

R = reference
(this means that the book is in the Reference section)
759  = Dewey Number
(look at the DDC index inside the booklet)
DUT = the title's first 3 letters (Dutch Paintings)
only when :
· the book has more than 3 authors,
· has only an editor, but no author

920
Chaplin
ROB

920 = DDC Number for biography
(look at  the DDC index inside the booklet)
Chaplin =  the name of a person, who's biography
is  written
(only for biographies)
ROB = first 3 letters of author's last name
(for the authorRobinson, David)
